We would rather turn a job down than staff it thin.
Most of what goes wrong on a job site is a communication failure, not a carpentry one.
Khella started as a two-man framing crew in Levittown and grew the slow way, one referral at a time. We still carry our own carpenters, which matters more than it sounds: the people who set your framing are the people who hang your trim, and they answer to the same superintendent.
When something is a quarter inch out, it gets fixed that week, not in a change order six weeks later.

Home Additions & Dormers
Shed and full dormers, second storeys, rear extensions and in-law suites, engineered to carry properly on the house you already have.
Kitchen & Bath Remodeling
Full gut kitchens and baths under one contract: structural work, electrical and plumbing rough-in, custom millwork, tile and finish carpentry by the same crew.
Roofing, Siding & Masonry
The envelope that keeps salt air and driven rain out: architectural and standing-seam roofing, cedar and fibre-cement siding, windows, and the masonry that meets the ground.
Custom Home Builder
Ground-up single-family construction from the site survey to the certificate of occupancy, including raised, flood-compliant foundations where the map calls for them.
Commercial Contractor
Retail, medical and professional build-outs: permits expedited, ADA handled, and the work phased so you never have to go dark.
Storm & Insurance Damage Restoration
Emergency stabilisation the same night, a scope your adjuster can actually read, and the reconstruction that follows it.
No surprises,
on purpose.
Walkthrough
We meet you on site, measure what exists, listen to what you actually want, and tell you straight whether the budget and the scope line up. No charge for this.
Scope and estimate
A line-item proposal: allowances broken out, exclusions written down, no lump-sum guessing. You see what every decision costs before you sign anything.
Drawings and permits
We bring in the architect and engineer, file with your town or village, and carry the application through plan review and any variance it needs.
Build
One superintendent owns your job and gives you their cell. Written update every Friday, a live schedule you can see, and a swept site before the weekend.
Punch and close-out
The punch list closes before the final payment, not after. Warranties, manuals, certificate of occupancy and lien waivers arrive in one package.
42 towns,
two counties,
one contractor.
Every town page tells you who issues your permit, what is behind your walls, and whether the flood map reaches you — before you call anyone.
